    Default Thom's Flats Shrimp Fly

    Hey guys, here are a couple of shots of a really cool looking fly tied by our very own Thom (AKA SullyTM)! A VERY nice tie, this is the fly he was seeking coq de leon feathers for in an earlier post:





    Just the sort of thing you expect to see scurrying across the sand before it gets gobbled up by a nice fish. . . .

    Thanks for helping with the photos Mike...and for donating a few Coq De Leon feathers It's my first attempt and I have to tweak a few materials. As soon as the local fly shop gets around to actually stocking the feathers I plan on tying up a few more...

    BTW...This pattern is from New Yorker Tim Wohland...a master salt water fly tyer. He's a wild and crazy guy who has some incredible patterns for salt water fishing...
