Default Garmin portable GPS for boat, RV and car

    http://www.garmin.com/products/gpsmap376c/

This looks like one you could use in any boat, car or RV.

    Motorcycle or bicycle?

    They are $800-$1000USD.

    Any ideas here?

Sorry, we don't sell these. West Marine has them in Sacramento.

    Default Too Much Info

Bill, I sincerely believe this is too much information, too complicated to use it to the best of its ability unless you have a lot of time on your hands.
I have a Garmin e-trex Vista, it is great with the map program in all reality it is all I need. It is relatively easy to use but this one is ten times what I have and you would need to purchase three different map programs to use it to its potential ($300-$400) total. A Water, Topo, and Road programs...

I think you are probably right on the money here.

I will be 61 this month and the 'techy stuff' is really hard for me to deal with too. If I don't use it every day, I forget how to turn it on.

I just like to look at this stuff and dream.

Hell Bill, this board is becoming age obsessed! Don't you know that days spent fishing don't count towards your allotted lifespan? So, just fish every day and enjoy immortality - that's what I'm aiming for!
