Today a friend and I fished an unnamed stream within an hour of Grants Pass. A very pretty stream with all types of water. I got zip and my friend hooked and lost a fish of about 30" that he had on for a long time.

I have not fished the Applegate, but is that the stream?
Al Perryman said it was good in February.

Secret stream within an hour of Grant's pass with a bridge over it... note shadow. Any other clues?
fish first, ask for time off later...

I know how you feel
Last July I caught a big rogue fish and posted a picture on the local board. It exploded into a debate on where I caught it. Since it was the first of July, everyone was desperate to get into some early fish. People were trying to identify the current and the bramble on the far bank. It looked just like every other part of the middle rogue. It went from amusing to annoying. I never even said it was a secret spot, I just didnt mention where I was. It seemed like if I gave up the location, there'd be 40 guys there the next morning. Anyway, I decided to have some fun and photoshop the picture to put an end to it.
Here it is.
It would have been even better if you were in the ferris wheel. lol.
Tight lippin' a fellow Oregonian. Shame on you Gordon!!!
