New Waterproof 6 MegaPixal Coming Soon

Pentax just announced the Optio W10. This is a waterproof camera for up to 30 minutes at 1.5 meters underwater. It has a 2.5" LCD. 3X Optical Zoom. 6 MegaPixal. Price to be announced.

This would make a great camera to put in you vest, and not worry about getting it wet. Some of our board members use the earlier models, and I have noticed that they take great photos.

Just went to Froogle and priced this camera at $262.-$450. depending on what accessories you want with it.

Looks good for around water. I've got one of the older 35mm wet area Pentax and have been very happy but it's time for a change.

I didn't notice a view finder, just the screen?

I love my Optio 43WR! Every picture that I post comes from that camera. I definately got $300 out of that camera, well worth the money.
