Welcome to the board, guys. This is a really friendly board with a bunch of great people and no bs.
Good luck out there, and post a report for us when you get back.

It is great to have some nice and honest feedback about fly-fishing for a change.....it is not the experience I have had on other boards/forums. Glad to join fellas,

The flows are "scheduled" to drop again to 4,000 cfs. by Monday morning. We shall see.

i may have goten myself in a fix, have planed all wk to get in a drift sunday, arranged the shuttle etc. went to the show all day , came in this eve stoked for tomorrow only to find out tomorrow is the old ladys b day!!!
seems like women would give some suttle hints to us men folk who knowingly have selective memories as far as aniverseries and b days go. too late now to change the direction of the flow so ill just ride this one out and see if we can weather the inevitable fall out. wish me luck guys both on the water and when i get back. youd think theyd realize you can celebrate a b day any time but can only fish when you arent working. oh well!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm sure you'll survive, but it may be a little cold for a while. I've been married for 34yrs ( I know medal of honor) and I can still remember the times I went fishing on my wifes birthday and Valentines day. The worst was a 3 day chuckar hunt on the same weekend as her birthday. I think Valentines day is just a trap invented by women.

"medal of honor" - that is just too funny!
