Default G.Loomis has new fly reels now

We just receive the new G.Loomis 'East Fork' series of fly reels today.

They are drop cold forged and then machined by their parent company, Shimano.

Drop cold forging is the most expensive and powerful way to produce anything out of metal.

They have the same drag as one of Shimano's world class bait casting reels.

The come in three sizes: 3/4, 5/6 and 7/8 so far. All under $200 USD.

We hope they make them in one size larger for light salt water and Spey.

These are going to really be popular.

I know a lot of guys like reels that are silent or real quiet. Then there's the rest of us that like reels that click while reeling in and scream when a fish runs. Do these new G. Loomis East Fork reels make any noise while line is going on and off?

It is quiet when reeling and makes a little buzz on the out go.

You need to see and feel them.
