    Default Cleaning lenses

I have a sony cybershot DSC-P100. It has developed some tiny debris on/in the lense. It actually seems to be within the lenses. If I zoom to a certain point the camera will momentarily show the junk clearly before it AF's on my subject. So far my pictures have been turning out pretty good. Maybe 1 out of 10 shots shows a hint of the junk on the lense. When I shoot in movie mode, for some reason, the junk is so visible the movie is pretty much garbage.

Can I take the camera to a local cam shop for a cleaning , or should I contact Sony...Or, should I attempt to clean it?

    Thanks for any advise
