Default 2006 Simms waders are in stock now @ Kiene's.

We have the new 'L2' breathable stocking foots by Simms that are the original 'Lightweights' with a built in gravel guard which is a wonderful feature. You never loose them. They are the least expensive US made breathable wader with the Gore-Tex vapor barrier @ $229USD.

We also have the new 'Freestones' in that have built in gravel guards as well for $179. They are breathable with the QuadraLam vapor barrier.

I'm glad that Simm's finally put gravel guards on their wader even if they raised the price a little.

I would easily pay $20-$30 more the convenience of attached gravel guards.

    Bill,
Why did they discontinue the Rivertek waders and boots in your opinion? Seemed like really good products at decent prices?

    Will,

They discontinued the RT boots or most of them but not the waders.

    The boots where pretty heavy.

They still have the RiverTech waders in stocking foot and boot foot.

The waders are cool but the boots were heavy and clunky IMHO.
