The trip to Rainbow Lodge, BC for 2006 will be from July 19th through the 25th. The cost for the trip will be $1995 per person. This includes round trip air fare from Vancouver to Rainbow Lodge and back to Vancouver, Lodging, all meals, 2 days guided on the Upper Dean River, 2 fly out trips to variety of rivers, streams, or lakes of your choice, and 1 day on Nimpo Lake or an option for an additional fly out. Kiene's Fly Shop has taken groups to Rainbow Lodge for about 20 years now.




It is one of the nicest trout fishing destinations with dry fly fishing in the daytime on the famous Upper Dean River and Backwater River. We use size 6 to 14 dries which are easy to see. There are mayflies, salmon flies and caddis flies hatching at this time. The fishing here is very easy so it is a great place for a novice or expert angler.

You fly out twice during the week, which is included in the trip, to any of several lakes with now road access so it is pretty unreal fishing. They have several boats on a half dozen remote fly in only lakes but if you prefer you can actually fly out and fish the remote streams that run in and out of those remote lakes as well.

The food at the lodge is prepared by Colleen Haavik and is some of the best of any fishing lodge in the world, seriously.
