    Bub, nice flies. As far as hooks go I like the Owner bait hooks but I also use the TMC 105's. The straight eyed hooks work better on some patterns than the bait hooks. I have had Gamu's straighten out on fish so do not have much confidence in them. What I do to hold the hooks is I get a tin like Altoids and cut some foam and that works. I am using the HMH adapter.
    Fishing is always good, the catching may not be.

    I'm using a pair of vise grips welded onto a post. Works just fine.

    I've tied some tube flies with the HMH adapter as well. Kiene's stocks the adapters if any of you guys without the eqipment wants to tie tube flies. kiene's also carries the plastic, aluminum and brass tubes for the many desired sink rates.

    I like two basic elements of tube flies: they get down fast and allow the angler to replace a dull or bent hook without replacing the fly.
