The Hale Bopp Leech pattern is deadly on Fall River, swinging it with a heavy sinking line. It is also good on Davis Lake.
Does anyone have the pattern instructions/materials list? I think the body is made from mohair yarn, but I'm not sure.

Yup the body is mohair with a sparse tail of marabou. That's pretty much it as far as I remember. Good looking fly in the water. Marabou is awesome!

I have seen the hale bopp unweighted and tied on a Tiemco 200R. Tail is marabou like Adam said. If you can't find mohair yarn, I have used a dubbing loop with shaggy dubbing, rake it out and trim it a little.
