Default Where to fish after the rains?

I'm new to this type of fishing. I have only been out three times. I know that water temp affects the fishing...but where do you fish when the water starts to turn chocolate up? I was thinking the south delta in dead end sloughs that don't get as much flow. Am I on the right track. This is too much fun to end for the winter.

    Default Winter Stripers....

Actually, any deadend slough will have relatively higher temps and clearer water than the main channels, etc., at this time of the year.

One thing to remember is that runoff due to rain usually raises winter water temps and may make the fish more receptive to eating. However, the trade-off comes with the increased turbidity in the runoff.....

I guess it's best to just go find a fish....

    Merry X-mas....
