Default when it rains, it ...

The north coast is now under a flash flood watch.
checking the stream flow data, the river flows have gone vertical since yesterday afternoon. I'm feeling better about my trip next week.

Think I will go give the Eel a try - plan to bring my 2000 grain skagit line and around 45 feet of T-14 - zap a gap the size 5/0 hook right to the T-14!

With this outfit I should be able to bring the redwood trees to hand and release them to fight again!

The Russian, Gualala, Navarro, and S. Fork of the Eel are running high and chocolate brown. More rain is predicted for the remainder of the week. Rivers may not be fishable for a week or more. The bars on the Gualala and Navarro have broken again.
