    Default Middle Rogue Steelhead

    Fishing has been slow lately. So far this year's summer run is 64% of the 2004 run at this time and 43% of the 2003 run at the same time. Also have seen the fewest salmon in my four years of living here.

    With a cold & cloudy day went back of the house mid-afternoon and caught & released this pretty 29" wild steelhead.

    Gordon, for slow conditions, you are still regularly catching some GREAT fish! That one is a beauty! =D>
