Fished the American river below sailor bar last night.

Had a couple of bumps on a caddis nymph and one riser on a dry but no fish. Lot's of very small caddis looking flys hatching though. Two guys in a drift boat caught a very big (my guess about 30 to 35 lbs.) fresh looking salmon. It was quite the fish and it put on a great show jumping out of the water a few times.
