    Default Iron Canyon Resevoir

    Anyone have any tips for this lake? techniques, patterns, etc? I will be camping with family over Labor day wkend. Hope to get my 10 year old daughter stared fly fishing. Thanks for any help.

    Ringo, welcome aboard! Wish I could help you but I haven't fished that one. I think it's cool, though, that you're getting your daughter into it. Hope she nails the biggest one! Good luck!

    Default Iron Canyon

    Hey Ringo, last time I fished it was about 7-years ago. There are a lot of cruisers in the lake and they are very active in the mornings and evenings. I used small emergers and damsel nymphs, fishing around the stumps. If you've ever fished McCloud Lake, it is similar.
