    Default Williamson Rainbow

Figured I would try posting a picture. This is a rainbow 6 lb that I caught on the Williamson river in Oregon over july fourth. Nice chunky guy, huh?

    Thanks Doug.

This is a river not many fish becuase the access is a little limited. I fished this years ago in the '70s with Joe Shrishac. Joe use to spend the month of June every year in his trailer at "Walt's Cozy Camp" or "Mosquito Central" as we called it. We only fished it on foot but drifting in a drift boat from Chilquin downstream is the best way.

This is a great river with many trout coming up from the shallow Klamath Lake that run 5 to 10 pounds and larger.

Again I would fish this with a guide in a drift boat for a day in July if you can.

There is some foot access too.
