Default Campeche, MX Yucatan on Monday, 8/22/05

Keith Kaneko, Leo Gutterres, John Hogg and I are going to check out a new location way west of Cancun for Baby Tarpon (5-35#). Some Snook too.

This is south of Merida on the bottom of the gulf of Mexico on the west coast of the tip of the Yucatan.

We will have a big report with picture in a week or so.

    Say hey Bill,
I think you guys will enjoy the area. One of my favorite places in Mexico. Beautiful country. Excellent food. Fun and diverse fishing. Should be snook, snapper, baby tarpon, cuda, and shark. I think exploring the mangrove forest is an amazing experience. The first tarpon I ever caught there ate a popper and shot straight over the panga's bow and into a tree! Whew what sight.
