Perseid meteor shower tonight

The Perseid meteor shower is supposed to peak tonight/friday morning if anybodys interested. It might be a nice opportunity to photograph some meteors.

Thanks for the heads up. I will need to get up early and go for a dawn fishing expedition. Last time I watched the meteor shower my neck got stiff. This time it is all about a blanket in the lawn. Mems.

The last time I went watching "the shower", I was out on Garden Hwy at 3:00 AM.... Was driving slowly in a very low light area when I was stopped just short of running into a very large Sycamore tree that had fallen across the road.... What alerted me was Highway Patrol Officer who had observed my approach and flashed a light at me thru the tree branches.... It was so dark out there, I never would've seen it.... Wheeew, that was a close one....
