Shad are still being caught above the Sunrise Bridge. AM and PM is best with a #10/12 caddis nymph or prince nymph this late in the run. Caddis dries will work very late if there is no wind.

We have had reports of small/medium Steelhead in the river too.

There will be small schools of fresh Salmon in the river all summer but they are not commonly taken on flies till they get thicker in Sept/Oct.

Many are getting smaller Stripers but the big ones should get hundry as the Shad schools get smaller.

Try to get our very early and fish till maybe noon and then go out at 6/7pm and fish till dark.
