    Default big Pond on AR

    A month or so ago I stumbled on to a big pond near the Harrington access while shad fishing. Its a liitle ways upstream from the turn around. Anyone knwo what fishys live there? Looks real fishy and I saw a huge carp. If I go back shall I bring some bass lies? Cheers HC

    Tell ya what , Harley - tye on a #10 olive bugger w/ a 10 foot 4X leader ... That should bring whatever lives in there up

    David, I didn't try for Mr. Stripe on the AR yet. Been thinking about bringing the boat and fishing the lower reaches. It a deep draft but its already got a ding on the prop. it's to hot for me right now, heath issue, but let it cool a little and we can do a wade or boat deal. HC

    I am guessing you are seeing the Arden Pond which is on the north side of the river or the left side looking upstream. It is above the Herrington/Gristmil accesses. It is at the end of Arden Way.

    It has bass and panfish. Evenings would be best.
