Default Go right now.....not in August.

Try to go up in the Sierras right now before it get too hot and everything is low and clear and tough.

I would say that 80% of ther streams and lakes are fishing well now.

    Wow, this weahter is great.....................

I am also looking forward to good fishing in August. I fished once for trout in June this year, the water was too high. July should be like a "normal" June and hopefully Auguts will fill in for July.

Get out there and go FISHIN!

    Adam,

It is very possible we will have good fishing through to November?

I don't recall too many years like this in the past where the streams were so high for so long.

We should get some good reports from the 'scouts' up there this weekend.

As long as the rest of July and all of August do not get any record breaking heat waves that could possibly happen. I love trout fishing in the Fall, the best wether and the fish start to pack on the weight.

Lets keep our fingers crossed for no heat waves.
