    Default Fuller Lake

I know alot of you guys like to fish this one. Well, my wife wanted to go kayaking and neither of us were real excited about Natoma, so we decided to go to Fuller. Didn't bring a pole, as the day was dedicated to my son and #1 woman. Should have. Saw one guy on the dam flycasting very poorly and just had to give him a few tips. He said he injured his hand. He said he punched a wall. I kind of back off and went back to my own bus. Anyway, he caught a 15-inch brown on an ant and man was he stoked. I guess he's hooked for life.

Good in-flows at the creek and many comfortable trout merrily cruising along the bar. Good surface activity and numerous cruising feeders up to 16-inches. Baetis hatches and tiny white midges on top. Definitely a good bet if you want something close and productive.

When all else fails, put down the pole and swim with the dog.

    Thanks Tracy

I would guess that hundreds of lakes in the Sierras are in prime shape right now with our late spring.
