    Default "Y" Knot?

My buddie Rich is in town this weekend and we hit the secret river "Y". 8:45 am we pull off the dirt road on the south side and look down to some rising fish! Hmmmm! Scurry down to the river and get 2 nice fish in 20 minutes on a PMD and a BWO dry. Looks to be a great day. Many small size 17 dark mayflies coming off the water. Not sure what the flies were as I never got an ID. After 20 minutes the hatch was over and we went searching for some new water. Ended back on the north side and fished downstream of the bridge. Picked up a nice 17"er and LDR'ed a 16"er swimming a olive Zonker in the seams along the bank. We had a few more rattles but no stickers! Great day and great company, thanks Rich and thank you Mr "Y"!

    Nice Zonker fish Mike.

Did that fish take you 200ft downstream and into the bushes too?

Oh yeah, you hooked him in the mouth

    Great shots Mike

That high water doesn't look too dangerous.

What is all the fuss about high water?

Adam, actually I got that fish in the same spot you hung that monster you had to chase down the river.

Yea Bill, what's all the fuss over about high water, it didn't bother us, we just didn't get in it!
