Wow, it pays to surf the board while at work. I get to open up the new forum . I just got back Sunday from 5 days in Yellowstone. My first time there. Was told at a shop in Jackson that the Firehole was on fire. Yeah yeah I thought, FIREhole on FIRE, just a play on words. what I found when I showed up there was not a wordplay. The river at certain stretches was litterally on fire with insect activity. Browns doing full body leaps eating flies in the air. It was unbelieveable, lasted everyday2:30 till around 7:00. When I wasn't catching I was marvelling at the acrobatics of some of the trout. I am already planning on going back next year same time.

Congratulations on the trip and being first on the new category.

We had so many people in the shop going to Montana and other 'trouty' states that I realized we needed a special category for this.
