Seems the board has been slow for a few weeks now. I know some of ya'll are fishing so post some reports! Adam, you know you get sick if you drink too many dehydrating beverages! Just kidding. Theres been a summer flu bug going around here in Texas lately. Hopefully i will not get it.

Seems like everyone decided to fish the Yuba today, there were quite a few cars parked at the hwy 20 bridge this afernoon. The river looked great and fished well. Hope you get to feeling better soon.

Yep they're great, if you like country muisic. They've got a web site, you should be able to find it if you "google" them. There is a bar/club that they play at on a simi regular basis somewhere in the Austin area. They've got a schedule on their web site. Catching a show should be easy since you live in Austin. They do a neat cover of a Jimmy Hendrix song, the one that goes "well she's walking... through the clouds with a circus mind that's running wild..." or something like that. Really good stuff, the kind of music that you could churn out some flies to if you know what I mean.

I guess some are able to catch fish even in these high flows?

Works great for me since i am not able to do most of my california fishing until the fall. Steelhead season!!! I cant wait, only a few more months.

Just got back from my first trip to Yellowstone NP. The Firehole river is on FIRE. Unbelieveable caddis/PMD hatches that lasted from 2:30 till 7pm. I tried over an hour to catch one brown that was only taking flies in the air. I wish i could have captured him on film, full body out of water leaps. Can't wait to go back next year

We went by the Truckee on Saturday on the way to Salt Lake.

The Truckee looked good to me .

I hope to fish it soon.


We going to Logan on monday and hope to fish the Logan river .

I hope its not too high to fish!!
