    Default Looking for bass/panfish on Sat

    I am taking my daughter Amy out in search of a few hungry warm water species. Probably do the afternoon/evening thing. Will be on top if possible. Anything with lips and fins will do.

    Bill;
    With the various river conditions being what they are we're thinking to do the same. May go paddle around Del Valle and see what's biting...

    So Bill, was there any action on top? I took my 3 year old there yesterday, and got his first fish ever on a San Juan Worm behind a bubble. Boy did he love that! I'd like to get his big brother there this week also, and maybe get him a fish as well. Sibling rivarly is a funny thing. My older boy (5) has spent hours patiently sitting in a canoe with nothing yet to show for his patience, and first time out with the little one, we get into the fish. Certainly shows the difference between trout, even planters, and panfish.

    Dave,.... You're indeed a very fortunate person to be present during these important times with your sons....

    Keep up the good work . Believe me, you'll never regret it... .
