MSP in Chico

MSP/Mike visited me in Chico today. We fished from 9-3:30 and caught many small bass. There were some large bluegill caught but not as many as I would have liked. I usually catch those big gills in the evening on poppers. Mike caught one nice bass about 1.5 lbs and another equally nice bluegill. See the pictures below.





We had fun today in the warm weather of Chico.

Adam, nice pictures! Very cool of you to host Mike on the Golden Pond. I can tell he had a great time. Once again, I am blown away by the size of the bluegill in that place. Very nice!

Hey guys, don't believe everything you see Adam post, Here is the way I saw it today: The weather stunk, (85 degees) the beer was warm (38 degrees) and the fish only cooperated every 10th cast or so. Oh yea and the cigar was stale! (very smooth) So there you have it, beside a broken rod and a few miles on the truck I'd have to say if I ever get invited back up I might have to go! Adam thanks, you are a gracious host and great guy to be on the water with!

OK...I've had it!! Adam, I may have to visit my bosses daughter who is a student at Chico and bring my fly gear...MSP looks good in the tube. He isn't planning on enrolling at CSU is he? That 'gill he's holding in BIG!!! Keep the pictures coming...SullyTM
