Anyone here ever use the boron 2x 7 wt 11 foot boron 2x?

I was just checking with Jeff Putnam on what Spey rods I should have in stock at the shop.

He said that 13' is about as short as he likes them except in a 4-5 line where they can be 12.5'.

He said that 14' in 7-8 is getting popular now too.

Thanks Bill. The tfo 6 weight 12.6 is a nifty steelhead spey rod too tho for the price. When things slow down you should have Jeff take you out and make you a spey expert. I hear he is good at taking beginners and turning them into expert speyers overnight (shameless plug for Jeff)
