Default Denny Murphy hit a big striper

We just heard that Denny Murphy landed a 43 inch Striper floating a few days ago on the Lower American River.

Default Hey Bill same thing happended to me last spring on the Yuba

I ran one over with the boat. Felt a "thump" and moments later he was litterally "floating" around the Hallwood area. Looked healthy, so I ate him.

    Default Yuba Stripers for Dinner

Hi Tracy, also, with the boat, where did you put in and how shallow is the river? You must have a jet? My prop won't make it so I walk in up there.

Yeah, that's the Hallwood area on the Yuba. We put in in Marysville. Jet only.

Wow, a 43 incher on a tube, that had to be a sight to see. I'm guessing that it never got pulled up out of the water.
