Rogue River

Drifted the Rogue River 4/14 & 4/15 from Elk Park to Dodge Bridge. Dead drifted pink & orange egg patterns. Fishing was hot 4/14. Had 5 hook-ups, boated 3. Buddy had 2 hook-ups & boated 2. All were 28"-29" & heavy. Then about 3 pm a tremendous caddis hatch started and the fish turned off. Same on the 15th. We had 1 hookup each all day. Weather was warmer on 15th & looked like water level dropped about 12". Not sure if changing conditions caused the change; maybe they had to file extensions on their tax returns. Several other boats on river 15th w/ similar results. Still was a great 2 days!
