    Default Fishing Report - 4/15/05

Well, hit the Delta for largemouth bass today from 10:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. in my Coleman inflatable kayak. Nice and sunny but quite windy. Fished a size 2 topwater deer hair bass bug for an hour -- not a touch. Fished a size 6 olive woolly bugger for an hour -- one LDR. Fished a size 2 chartreuse/white Clouser for an hour -- not a touch. Sadly, the water temperature is still significantly colder than I had hoped -- it tested at 59 degrees at the surface in one spot, and 57 degrees at the surface in another. Water level was unusually high -- at high tide, areas normally accessible by foot were completely under water. Ah well, hopefully in another couple of weeks. . . . I did take a picture of the kayak sitting on the water though:
