American Report 4/12

Fished the American today from 11:30 - 4:00. Caddis were coming off all day and the fish were definately noticing them. Had 3 rises to a Caddis dry, LDRed a nice 18 -19"er and a smaller one. Missed the 3rd rise altogether . Had 3 grabs on an emerger but didn't hang any of those fish either. I don't care about no fish, just getting excited the action is starting. Fish rising to the Caddis sporadically all day, most out of my range but that didn't matter either. Better things are on the way. Jason came down for a few hours and got a smaller fish on a Fox Poopah hanging under a Elk Hair Caddis. He also had a nice grab on a emerger. All in all it was a great day on the water. Can't wait for tomorrow

Ignor my post under general fly fishing now that i see you post under here. Nice day on the water and i am hoping to make it back out tomarrow late in the afternoon. I think the action is just getting started.
