    Default New catagory for "bugs".

I am hoping that we can see some macro insect pictures up here this summer.

I thought it might help to indentify many of these different insects we run across out there while fishing.

I will have to send an email to Michelle from the NCFFB to jump start this catagory.

I think the Gordon L. has some Oregonian bug pictures too.

    Default Bugs

Really beautiful shots and great idea for a category. I'll post a series I shot recently on the lower Sacramento of a caddis who had just crawled out of the current and up onto a rock to molt. It happens fast! Up here in the "real" northern California (read that "still cold and sometimes still snowy) we're still waiting for spring but things are slowly warming up. Keep those nice shots coming!

Rob, Gordon, Michelle -- GREAT shots, all of you. I especially appreciate you identifying what they are, thanks!

Here's some of the limited selection of shots I have right now. Later on in the season I will take some time to hunt and photograph our most popular fly fishing insects. I will not have the quality or selection of Michelle but I will offer what I can.

    PMD Cripple?

    Caddis Larva

    Mating Skwalla Stoneflies

    Cool light up Skwalla Adult

A selection, Stonefly with Caddis Larva

I will share more with you guys as I take more pictures.
