This was my new 1978 VW bus with two 8' TP&L fiberglass prams on top.
That might be Manzanita Lake

WOW I thought I was the only one who had one of those van's..... I carried only one TPL pram on mine. Your set up must've really put a hole in your gas mileage .
I slowed down using mine when I got tired of hoisting it back up on top of the van after rowing it around all day.....

Now THAT is a really cool picture Bill! You were a fishing ANIMAL, ha!

Chuck Norris has already been to Mars; that's why there are no signs of life.
If I'm not mistaken, TPL was the only pram maker in the early '70's. I had the tri-hull model that weighed about 75 lbs. I actually built a pram trailer that could haul 4 prams. It had compartments for the oars, trolling motor, batteries, life jackets, etc.....
Last year at the Seattle show, I was looking at the new Spring Creek kevlar prams. They are definitly lighter than the old fiberglass prams.
Still looking for a larger boat. Last week, I looked at a Crestliner at one of the local dealers but didn't like the set up. No big rush other than I might be too old by the time I find one
