I am headed to Orlando this week for work. I figured I may as well try and find out is I can fish there. I have read that the flats are incredible. Does anyone know if this is something I can do on my own? Should I get a guide?

Hey Mik,
If you don't get many responses here, you might want to try the dan blanton board or the gary bulla board.
Let us know how it goes out there.
I might be out there sometime in sept/oct timeframe. Was going to post myself as soon as we know where my friend's wedding is at.

My wife doesn't want me to get eaten by a croc, so she might let me hit it with a guide. Thanks for the advice. I will check out those boards.
This is only an hour north of where my little house is in Sebastian, FL.
East of Orlando is Titusville and the famous Mosquito Lagoon for Redfish.
John Turcot is a top fly fishing flats guide there.

If he is booked at this time he can give a recommendation for another good guide.
