March Brown hatch on Upper Kings River

I heard the fishing was real good above Pine Flat Reservoir on the Upper Kings River now.

Where can I learn more about where and what to fish?

Nip: It has been 30 years since I fished this area but used to fish near Garnett Dike Campground. Watch out for rattlesnakes-this is prime habitat.

About this time of year the rainbows run up out of Pine Flat to spawn in this section and since they have been feeding on threadfin shad in the lake they will take a streamer readily. In the old days these fish would run from 2-5 pounds. We used to get up high and use polaroids to spot pods of fish before we actually starting casting.

Thanks Bill! I'll check it out...I want to go someplace Tues/Wed next week.
Doesn't look like the river A will lower in time...maybe the Y? If they aren't working I'll check out the King.
