Middel Rogue Steelhead

Have had 2.33 inches of rain the last four days but the ground is so dry no change in river levels. Rogue near Grants Pass at about 1,380 cfs and water temperature is 51 degrees. As of 16 March there were 6,379 winter steelhead over Gold Ray Dam. In 2003 and 2004 there were over 20,000 fish over Gold Ray Dam at the same time. Fished hard today and didn't have a bump. This picture was taken mid-morning back of the house.

Gordon, that is just one BEAUTIFUL picture!! And behind the house, no less. I can barely imagine what it must be like to walk to the edge of your lawn and see that everyday, with the sunlight streaming through your trees. . . .
