Spey leaders

I am new to Spey fishing, what leader is preferred for floating lines? Thanx for any input.

Stevie, Rio makes a 15' salmon leader that is great for spey. The leader is made out of a stiffer nylon compared to limp trout leaders. The stiffness helps turn over large flies.

A good rule of thumb is to use a leader the same length as your rod.
