Default Taking a dog on a pontoon boat?

I have a 12 foot pontoon boat. It can fit two people, lots of room when I go solo. I'm hoping to bring my 95 lb golden retriever on a few floats with me but Im not sure where he'd sit. It has standing platforms and is very stable but no obvious place for a dog to hang out. Any ideas on the best ways to bring a dog along on a pontoon boat and whether it makes to sense to get/build an actual dog platform?

    Hi Brad .

I wouldn't take the pooch on the pontoon .... way too much can happen with a doggie of that size .

Of course .... If the dog listens well , he (or she) can float/swim/walk down the river with you .

My hounds DON'T listen that well .... David

Looked at a Tracke Pro V16 today. Looks pretty nice. It had a 60hp four stroke, a minn kota trolling motor. The cost...... $13,000 OTD.
Just trying to justify how much use I'll get out of it.
