Middle Rogue Steelhead

Still almost a month without any decent rains. Rogue flow is 1,380 cfs and water is 48 degrees. As of 25 Feb the winter steelhead count over Gold Ray Dam was 2 ,534. At the same time last year it was 6,021 and two years ago it was 9,840. This week have managed 4 half pounders and tonight had a hard grab and caught & released a 22" wild fish that appeared to have been in the river awhile. The photo was taken from my backyard at dusk today. Somebody has to live here
