    Default Fish Finders

I need some advice on a fish finder. I am thinking of buying one sometime in the next month, something $150 or less. I want something that is pretty simple. The main reasons I want it is to tell the depth of the water, and to see how deep the general schools of fish are. I don't want any maps or all that extra stuff. I'm going to be putting it on a pontoon boat, would a fish finder even work? Thanks in advance for any replies.

Oh yeah, I did to do some reasearch for myself, but I don't know exactly what I'm looking for, and I don't know what any of the stuff means, so I figure I should get some advice from someone who has experience with this stuff.

Take a look at a Fishing Buddy from Bottomline. I would recommend one with a side finder. Should be in your price range and works great.
