Merced River

Anyone know what's going on re Merced River below McClure I am going up that way this weekend, and have never fished that area. Suggestions?

Yep, Bob, the owner, is very friendly and easy to talk to. Last time I was in his shop, I ended up chatting with him for an hour. Great guy.

I just received a report that the heavy rains have clouded the water on the Merced. It will take a couple of days to clear enough for most peoples taste. If you have the fever really bad use flame colored globugs + your favorite nymph.
