    Default Crawdad Pattern

Rob...Nice looking pattern. How was it tied? What materials did you use? I'd be interested in tryign to tie one. I was fishing my local creek (Walnut Creek) this past weekend and I saw a few 'dads in the water and in the jaws of Egrets so I'd expect them to work. Thanks. SullyTM

    Default Crawdads

Hello everyone,..... The crawdad pattern from NorCal site looks similar to a crawdad pattern described by Kelly galloup in his book. Very good pattern, in my opinion.

As to whether it will work or not, Ken Hanley posted in his pattern preferences for Smallmouth Bass. He said, "....crawdads, crawdads, crawdads...." were his choice. Good enough for me

    Nice tye , Rob !!
The ONLY craw I use is the Bugskin one - it's a #%$&*% to tye , takes around 30 minutes from start to finish , and just KILLS the Bass . Guess I'll stick with that stupid , horrible olive bugger .... . D.J.L.
