    Default Middle Rogue Steelhead-Monday

    Went back of the house again today about mid-day and caught & released another 28" wild steelhead. This time it took the top fly-a weighted glo-bug.

    Gordon,

    I'm starting to get the impression from your pictures that your're casting off of your back patio -- how do you keep your backcast from hitting the side of your house? Just here wishin' I had that problem.

    Haystacker: As you can see I must walk about fifty feet to get to my dock/pram as this picture was taken from my patio. A tough life.

    Holy Cow! Look at those lawns! You don't, by chance, run a Bed & Breakfast Inn, do you? Or maybe rent out rooms in the servant's quarters? Or, perhaps rent out one of the paddocks in your stables?

    Default Mid Feb on the Rogue

    Hi Gordon;
    I'll be in the Ashland area mid Feb. Is the upper rogue worth doing in that timeframe?

    Park near Medford clear up to the outflow of Lost Creek Dam. Only caution would be a ton of rain and then fish the first mile or so below Lost Creek Dam before you get to a muddy tributary.
