    Default fished the American

My brother and I drifted the American on Thursday 1-20-05. We started at Rossmore and pulled out at Gristmill. We were on the water at 9:00 am. We saw 2 other drift boats all day and about 10 bankies. Only one guy had a half pounder using suspended bright pink roe. The water was pretty colored up (Chocolate) visability was about 2 feet. Used a variety of flies under an indicator. Not even a touch. Sun came out about 1:00 and a small mayfly hatch came off. Good float, good company, nice day. Good luck to you.

    Thanks for the report Campbell.

Always nice to just get out on the water.

I figure ever so many trips the fish god will feel sorry for me.
