    Hit the lower river @ 10:00 , fished untill 12:30 .... One lonesome little "suicide" smolt on a black #4 Leech . Vis. about 3 feet , nobody but me and Patrick on the water , good flow down low !! D.J.L.

    No luck for me today, David. Nice to get out on the water with you, though. Hopefully we can do it again soon.

    Default Steelhead Swinging

    Is anyone out there getting a grab while swinging a leach in the Sunrise area.?

    Fished the American near Sunrise from about 10:30 until about 4. Got a 16-incher within about 30 minutes, and that was it for the rest of the day. I did see a really nice steelhead make a few jumps just out of my casting range. I would estimate it at 8 pounds. I think I should take casting classes now ...
