    Default Steelhead Picture

I caught this beauty on the Rogue River while fishing with friend and local guide Gino Bernero.

I would like to see some of your steelhead pictures. Post a reply.

Another Rogue steelhead taken in early Dec 04. Rogue has gone from 2,300 cfs to about 5,000 cfs due to the melting of all the snow we had about a week ago.

Rick, my memory sucks. I cannot recall what time of the year we were up there. I think it was in the Fall. I do remember how incredibly beautiful that area is though. I had a great trip with Gino, he is a super nice guy and a great guide. Gino's phone number is 916/952-0467 if any of you would like to catch some steelhead.

Greg, it really was Gino's....ha, ha. Actually, some times even a blind squirrel... well you know. I must say Adams been producing some nice pics in the last year or so and with his new digital friend I'm sure well see more quality fish in the near future. (Just don't ask him about the big tarpon shots ). -jp

MSP, very nice fish! If you don't mind, what pattern were you using and what size tippet? Thanks!
