    Exclamation Where's Bill Fishin' ?

    Bill,

It sure would be nice if we heard about some of your local fishing trips too. You post a lot about stuff going on out here but you're no longer here. So, what are you doing for fun fishing yourself?

You've got a canal right behind your house, and I bet you're only a hop and a skip from the saltwater. So have you been chasing black bass or snook or what?

Your forum family out here would like to hear what you're up to.

Stay well and get out there, Tony

The bass fishing has been wide open in April and through May. Topwater, early, and especially late afternoons with low winds.

Our famous Headwaters Lake is in the top 10 for America's trophy/tournament lakes for LMB.

Forida has thousands of freshwater lakes full of LMB: https://www.youtube.com/shorts/byYIH8Xp2S4

The smaller Tarpon, 5 to 30 pounds, are in our famous Sebastian River from May through September, the warm months are best.

At the famous Sebastian Inlet, connecting the Intracoastal to the Atlantic Ocean, has 60,000 Snook year-round.

Many of us would have moved here or bought a small cottage here 50 years ago or when we were younger.

There is a really good old fly shop here and a really good old fly club as well.

For shallow inshore saltwater or brackish water fishing, May and October are top months.

I mostly fish top water for everything now. I don't have any sinking lines now. Most fishing 4 feet of water.
