After 52 years of tying flies, 51 years commercially, health reasons "arthritic hands", I've decided that I can no longer tie up any trout flies, especially in the size from 16 to 28.
So I'm going to make up a list of materials that I'm getting rid of. I have a collection on hooks ( gamakatsu, owner, ahrex, dai ichi), Beads: I don't know how many packs of beads I have, all colors all sizes - brass and tungston. Threads (mainly Uni), Danville thread (bright colors for steelhead). "V" rib material, etc. I also have a ton of Spirit River dyed deer hair in various colors, great for tying bass flies, Spirit river barbell eyes, various colors and sizes, Hoffman saddle hackle, and a few Whiting/Hoffman saddles, etc.
It might take me a while to compile a list and I'm sure it would be too long to post on this site. I think my first go round will be to have a "yard sale" and see how much stuff I can dump.
I can tell you how far I go back, I will also be selling packs of Fly Rite dubbing. This is a fine dubbing material that was used back in my days. I still have packages in a big box.
Prices are going to be way below what retail prices today.
